Spanish tutoring with an Argentinian teacher!

Hi everyone! My name is Serena, and I’m from Argentina. I’m currently studying English-Spanish translation and have been teaching English in my country for several years. Most of my experience has been with beginner levels and school support, always through private lessons.

Two years ago, a friend asked me if I could teach her Spanish, and I thought, “Why not? Let’s give it a try!” That experience sparked my love for teaching my mother tongue. Since then, I’ve been giving online Spanish lessons, focusing on helping my students improve their speaking skills in everyday situations—how Spanish is really spoken, especially in Argentina.

I also cover grammar, reading, listening, writing and more, always tailoring my lessons to each student’s needs and goals. I enjoy adding a cultural touch to my classes, exploring topics like arts, history, social life, and cultural differences, if the student is interested.

While I teach both Peninsular and Latin American Spanish, I particularly enjoy working with the Argentine variation. It’s unique, rich, and full of character, and I love sharing it with my students.

I believe in creating a balance between fun, friendliness, and professionalism. I may not have years of formal classroom experience, but I’m enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn. My goal is to help each student feel confident and engaged while reaching their language goals.
