Bird Box - film review

Firstly I would like to start with some basic informations about this film.
Bird box is a 2018 American post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Susanne Bier from a screenplay written by Eric Heisserer, based on the book. The main star is Sandra Bullock as Malorie.

The film starts with a woman named Malorie Hayes telling two kids , known as Boy and Girl ,that they are going to some dangerous trip across the water. She insists on that they must keep their blindfolds. Five years earlier , Malorie is an artist who is pregnant. She is visited by her sister Jessica. And the two watch a news report on unexplained mass suicides that are spreading across the world. This forces the world’s survivors to blindfold themselves and navigate through the dangerous terrains without the ability to see. They run outside just as the mind-blowing chaos is happening, with people crashing their cars in the street. Malorie runs along with everyone else. She is knocked over and falls in front of a house. A man named Tom helps Malorie up and runs into the house,while they are persecuted by suicide people. The film continues with epic dramas like this.

From my own point of view, I think this film was mesmerising. I have seen a lot of horror films , but this one is one of the best. The only one thing i did not like is, for example kind of cliché happy ending.

To sum up if you like films full of action and dramas , then this film is definitely for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for something calm and fun this film is not for you.
